Yoga

What is Yoga?

Yoga means ‘union’. Therefore, it is a union of the breath and body / mind. Some say that it’s individual spirit with the universal spirit. Some say it’s just another form of exercise but Yoga is a combination of practices, which define the way we engage with the world to create harmony – which starts from within.

Different Types of Yoga?

There are many different types of yoga but I am predominately trained (RYT 200 hours Yoga Alliance) in Vinyasa Flow (your traditional yoga that follows the sun salutations and is rooted in Ashtanga Yoga).

I can also offer Mandala (one breath one movement that moves around the mat focusing on the elements), Yin Yoga (a deeper practices which focuses on holding the poses for a longer period and taking a deep introspection) and Rocket Yoga – a spicier, more fiery practice that is designed to make you sweat.

“Yoga Practice, not Yoga Perfect”

What type of teacher am I?

Probably one of the wobbliest yoga teachers that there is, but I think that’s what so beautiful about yoga practice, because we always say yoga practice, not yoga perfect. Because like life – it is a practice. Life can be pretty wobbly too right, so we have to learn to try and ride that wave wherever it takes us.

I always bring a sense of fun and silliness with the relaxation of yoga – always focusing on trying to find new ways in for the individual, be that to your first yoga class ever, or if you’re an experienced yogi trying to reach a peak or specific pose.

What services do I offer?

I generally teach in studios or online but I can also come to your home if you need something specifically designed for you.

I also offer Corporate classes, 1-1 sessions, group events, Hen & Stag Party Yoga (Manchester, London, Fleet, Reading, Bracknell, Berkshire)

Cover Yoga Teacher, Private Yoga Teachings and group yoga classes.
